How much do I like to pray with the psalmist in the morning, "Lord, open my lips and my mouth will proclaim your praise!" Lord, Let me truthfully pray for you to shut my mouth, even while suffering injustice. Let me understand and enact the strength and faithfulness of silence and submission. I don't need to defend myself, my intellect, my righteousness, or You before man.
